Title: Bittersweet
Fandom: BtVS
Pairing: Spuffy
Rating: PG
Word Count: 2,003
Timeline: Takes place sometime during season 7.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything. I'm just playing around.
Summary: Unable to sleep, Buffy finds herself once again sharing a cup of hot chocolate with Spike.

A/N: Sequel to Hot Chocolate. This was supposed to be a short drabblish thing, but it turned into a full blown fic, over three times as long as the first one. Written for [livejournal.com profile] angearia, who asked in a meme of mine for another hot chocolate scene in season 7. Hope you like it, dear!

She was so preoccupied with her search that she didn’t hear him enter the kitchen. It wasn’t until the familiar tingles hit the back of her neck and a pale forearm suddenly appeared in front of her that she even knew he was there.  )

So, I'm nearly finished with the Spuffy fanvid I've been making for [livejournal.com profile] seasonal_spuffy, I've only got two scenes I need to add, but I have to wait and get my friend's DVD's so I can rip them to my computer. I really thought it would take longer than this, but it seems things go a lot faster now that I know how to do a lot of the effects I want to. It's so much easier when you can do what was originally in your head rather than fighting with the program to figure out a reasonable alternative.

The bad thing about finishing it so soon (I still have like, a month until my day) is that I am a very impatient person. The temptation to just go ahead an post it somewhere is going to drive me mad. So I need to keep busy. And since I am still in a fanvidding mood, I really want to work on another.

I just don't have song in mind.

What I need is something intense but with a good beat and pace. Preferably rock, but not something that is so popular that people are sick of hearing it. I've made a lot slow vids and I'd like to work on something faster.

Anyone have any suggestions? Any song that you think fits the Spuffy relationshp?

Title: Ending
Fandom: BtVS
Characters/Pairings: Spike/Buffy, Willow/Tara, some Anya/Xander and Dawn
Song Used: "It's Okay To Think About Ending" by Earlimart

A/N: Despite the video's name, this is not about the end of the show. It's about the things that changed and ended for the characters during season 6. There is, however, one clip from season seven that I forgot to take out when my concept for the video changed part way through. And I'm far too lazy to go back and change it now. Can you catch which scene it is?

I experimented a bit with this one. I'm still learning on how to use this editing program.

Or download from here.

Edited: I just realized that the link I posted for the download doesn't actually go to the file it was supposed. That's fixed now.

These last couple of days I've been watching Avatar: the Last Airbender. (Which I absolutely adore and I could go on for ever about how great it is to see a kids show with actual character development and long story arcs and even hair growth but I'm not gonna. 'Cause I'm tired.) And I decided to draw Toph, the blind Earth Bender. Because she is awesome.

I definately think I am improving with painting on photoshop, but I still think my skin tones suck.

Anyway, picture under the cut.

Or you can go to my DeviantArt and see it there.

Today I've been thinking about turning my last Spuffy story, Make Me Immortal With a Kiss, into a three part story arc, all brought together by themes from Doctor Faustus. Simply because I love that play. The stories would compare Faustus' losing his soul to have a demon servant to Spike getting his soul for Buffy. Both bring the characters torment in the end. Kinda playing with the idea that what is supposed to save Spike actually, by vampire terms, condemns him. I think it'd be fun to write. I just have to get all my school work finished before I can start on it. *sigh*

I'm also considering putting up a link to a post with all my fiction on the side of my journal. The question is, should I have different links for different fandoms, or should I just do what I did in January, post an entire years worth of fiction in one post and have a link to that? What would be better?
Title: Make Me Immortal With a Kiss
Fandom: BtVS
Pairing: Spike/Buffy
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: Rough, violent sex and some blood play. Biting.
Timeline: Set during Season Six.
Word Count: 1366
Disclaimer: I do not own. I'm not pretending to own. I'm not making money. Did I cover everything?

A/N: So, I just kind of sat down and wrote without knowing what it is what I wanted to write and this is what came out. Title taken from Christopher Marlowe's Doctor Faustus.

A/N2: Huge thanks to [info]buffy_the_vamp6 for the awesome banner.

“Is that what you are?” She reaches up and touches his chest, fingers drawing patterns against the untouched skin in the center. They make a cross, but he doesn’t say anything. “A demon here to tempt me into selling my soul and living an eternal life in hell?”  )
Woohoo! Second ficlet posted in two hours! (Of course, one of them had been sitting on my hard drive for days, but shhh! We won't mention that.)

Title: Hot Chocolate (I really need to start thinking of more creative titles)
Fandom: BtVS
Pairing: Spike/Buffy
Rating: R
Timeline: Takes place sometime during Season Six
Disclaimer: I do not own. I'm not pretending to own. I'm not making money.
Summary: Buffy is alone making hot chocolate on a cold night when Spike decides to visit.
A/N: Short ficlet that had been running around inside my head since this morning.

She stared at Spike over the rim of her cup and begged, please, please, make me forget. )

Title: Get Love
Fandom: BtVS
Character/Pairing: Anya/Xander
Timeline: Season 6, Hells Bells

Summary: "I get it now. I finally get love. I really do."

A/N: So, I was rewatching Hells Bells and when Anya started reciting her vows it made me sad. So I made this little video. Not much to it, just an excuse to play around with some effects. I'm still getting used to this new program.

I get it now.  )

Title: Abstract
Fandom: BtVS
Characters: Buffy
Rating: PG13
Warnings: Angsty. Takes place sometime after "The Body" in season five.
Disclaimer: I don't own it. There.

A/N: So uh, my mother wanted me to write something for the funeral, saying that it "should be something that comes easy to you." Pff. That didn't work out so well. It figures that the only time I was able to write anything was when it came out as fanfiction.

Her poetry professor said that death was an abstract idea.  )

So, I've stressed many times about how I am not living in the dorms next year. The plan was to get an apartment with my friend Kristen, BUT her current landlord kept pressuring her about whether or not she was going to sign the lease again and because we hadn't looked for apartment yet, she went ahead and signed it, leaving me with no one to live with. (So not cool) I absolutely cannot afford an apartment on my own. So I just filled out this whole roommate apartment search thing on the internet, figuring that was always an option. I tell my friend Jasmine this and she is all like "Oh, like in the movies?"

I ask her if she think I'm going to get some kind of psycho for a roommate and she's all like, "No! It's like a romance! You know, where she accepts a roommate named Ashlee or something thinking its a girl when it turns out to be a guy. And then they fall in love."

So here I am, worrying about a Single White Female experience, and she's going on about romantic comedies.

And I'm the one who reads fanfiction.

In other news, Buffy has officially taken over my brain. Today in my British Literature class we were discussing Petrachian Sonnets, (you know, where there is one guy waxing poetic for fourteen lines about some magnificent woman who doesn't love them back) and the whole time I kept think. "This sounds like it could be about Spike and Buffy." "I can so see Spike saying that about Buffy." "Receiving the man's ardour with disdain? Oh yeah, that's Buffy."

Yup. My brain has been Buffy-fied.

At least I was able to focus on my midterm paper, which was about Chaucer's The Wife of Bath and how the character can actually be seen as a feminitic character when compared to the message in The Miller's Tale. Despite the Middle English, which was hard to plough through before I finally got the hang of it, it was a fun paper to write. Still, I'm glad its done and I can get back to writing some fanfiction. (Taking over my brain, I tell you!) I've got several plot bunnies nagging me. One of which would be a pretty long chapter fic, if I have the courage (and patience ) to write it. I've always been much better at short, flash fiction style works. But still, this bunny will not go away. Poor Anya would absolutely terrified.

I know my last one didn't last more than two months, but I've really been doing more in the Buffy fandom lately and I was playing with photoshop today and I really liked what came out so--new layout! And a Spuffy layout! With a color scheme that I didn't know I had the ability to change with lj. Woohoo!

Oh! And beautiful animated sidebar images from[livejournal.com profile] buffy_the_vamp6 who is awesome.

Now I just need a Spuffy moodtheme and I will be all set. *is excited*

Title: Spark
Fandom: BtVS
Rating: R
Characters: Spike, with some Spike/Buffy and a little Spike/Dru
Warnings: Major references to the bathroom scene Seeing Red.
Discaimer: I do not and am not pretending to own any of the characters mentioned in this story. I am not making any money off of this. Just having fun.

A/N: So, I noticed that most of my fics were lacking the serious angst that I usually write, and I felt a serious need to write something depressing. So this is what came out. Written fairly quickly and unbetaed so it's pretty rough, but it really wasn't much more than an excuse to write a lot of angst and misery, so I'm not too concerned. ;)

It burned. )
I just found out that I've been nominated at The Sunnydale Memorial Fanfiction Awards!

I was nominated for Best Author and my story, Just a Little More Real was nominated in the categories of Best Characterization (Buffy) and Best Gen Fic.

Wow! I've been writing fanfiction for nearly seven years now and I've never been nominated for anything before. It's rather exciting. *grins*

Thank you so much to whoever nominated me! See that big hug in my mood picture? That is what I want to do to you. ;)

Word Count: 1712
Disclaimer: I do not and am not pretending to own any of the characters mentioned in this story. I am not making money off of this, just having fun.

A/N: Takes place after Dirty Girls. And written because that scene with Spike and Faith in the basement really annoyed me.

She didn’t know how Spike became the one person she could depend on, but she’d stopped questioning it by now.  )
Title: Morning Routine

Rating: PG13
Warnings: Mentions of the scene from Seeing Red.
Disclaimer: I do not and am not pretending to own any of the characters mentioned in this story. I am not making money from this, just havng fun. Do not sue.

A/N: So, this was supposed to be an angsty little ficlet, but it got away from me and somehow became terribly fluffy.

She could smile at that now, and she couldn't help but think that, god, they've come a long way. )

A/N: Just a small little ficlet that popped into my head and I couldn't resist. Would take place before Something Blue.

Summary: "Into bondage, are you, luv? Didn't think the Chosen One of all that is Good and Light would be into those sort of sex games."

Just finished watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the movie). I forgot how much I liked Pike. I was so sad when I started watching the series and they didn't mention him at all. Though I still attribute the first bulky leather jacket she wore in the series to him. (The one before Angel gave her his. Pfff. Stupid Angel, replacing Pike's jacket like that.)

I mean seriously! No mention? Think of all the bad jokes Xander could have made about how Buffy went for guys whose name ended in "ike" or something! All that potential. Just--poof! Wasted.

I have a sudden urge to write a Buffy fanfiction that incorporates Pike into the show's story line somehow.

I don't have a Pike icon so this one is going to have to do. Simply because I love them both and their names rhyme.

Title: Just a Little More Real
Fandom: BtVS
Characters/Pairings: Buffy, with a bit of Spuffy.
Rating: PG13

A/N: A sort of character study, using a bit of philosphy from my classes.

This story has been nominated at The Sunnydale Memorial Fanfiction Awards for Best Characterization (Buffy) and Best Gen Fic. Thank you to whoever nominated me!

It wasn't like sitting in a cave watching shadows, you didn't just watch the world. You had to live in it. )

So, a while back ago I posted some of my pencil art, all with links back to my deviantart page. This is one of them--only colored. Well, almost colored. Still haven't finished it. Spike is done, but I still have the background to do (as you can see in the pic) and I suck at backgrounds.

Posting it now, 'cause I'm not sure when I'm going to get back to it. *shruggs*
