Title: Five by Five
Fandom: BtVS
Characters: Buffy, Faith
Rating: PG
Notes: Written for the Sunnydale High School 10th Anniversary Comment!Ficathon.

Summary: Another apocalypse down, Buffy and Faith decide to duck out of the clean up and share a well earned bottle of tequila.

Beside her Faith was also pulling herself up, brushing off the dust and debris of what used to be the town square fountain.  )
So, it's been years since I've written any Buffy fic, but this story has actually been sitting on my hard drive unfinished for a long time now, and since I've been rewatching Buffy again I finally got off my butt and finished it.

It's the third story from my Hot Chocolate series, and I have two more planned before the whole series is finished.

Title: Interlude I : Cocoa
Fandom: BtVS
Characters/Pairings: Willow, Buffy, mentions of Buffy/Pike and Buffy/Spike
Rating: PG
Wordcount: 2000+
Warnings: Post-Series, mentions of character death
Notes: This story mentions parts of the movie as well, but ignores season 8 comics and any other Buffy books. This is the third part of my Hot Chocolate series. Previous stories are Hot Chocolate and Bittersweet.

Buffy shook her head. “I’ve decided to break the pattern of dating guys with leather jackets. No good ever came of that.” Willow thought for a moment. “I don’t think two makes a pattern.” Buffy looked down at the mug in her hands, tapping her fingers lightly against the side. “Three,” she said quietly. )
So me and my friend Kate were going to go out to a bar and dance tonight, but while we were killing time at my apartment before the DJ started playing (we didn't want to get there before. Boring.) we decided to watch the Payley Festival Buffy Reunion panel, and now we've decided to just stay home and watch Buffy episodes.

We'll probably have more fun this way, (We've got drinks here!!) but most people will probably think we're just losers.

I thought you guys would understand though. :D

Rewatched a few season 4 Buffy episodes today. I'd forgotten how much I liked Riley in this season. He's adorable. I like him. What happened in season 5? *sigh*

Of course, then Spike comes into the scene and I forget all about Riley. :P

I've been a little absent on livejournal here lately. But real life has decided to remind me it exists--especially in the form of my social life, I've been going out with friends a lot more than usual here lately, which has been fun. :)

Tonight I'm hosting my friend's twenty-first birthday. I've got like, ten people coming over to drink at my apartment, half of them I don't event know.

This should be fun. :D
A question for the Buffy fans on my flist:

Is there some sort of community like [livejournal.com profile] spnstoryfinders were someone can go and make a post about how they're looking for a fic where "so and so does this and I think this happens and it was all really blah blah blah, and I'd really like to read it again can somebody help me?" and then other fans who know what they are talking about can post a link?

'Cause there should be. It's damn useful.

Signed up for [livejournal.com profile] seasonal_spuffy. I'm glad it was decided to hold it at a later date 'cause otherwise I probably wouldn't be able to participate. I've got a few short story ideas in mind--one of which is a story following my previous fic Hot Chocolate and Bittersweet, but that story won't actually have Spike in it, though it'd be Spuffy centered, so I don't know. I do know I want to do some art at the least, graphics mostly, though I do have a few hand drawn stuff I haven't scanned yet. So we'll see. It's been a while since I've done anything in the BtVS fandom. I'm starting to miss it.

I'm also dropping by to pimp a community: [livejournal.com profile] spn_animated. Just because I love animated gifs (can you tell?) and there's not a whole lot of members for it yet.

I've been thinking about the similarities between some the het pairings that I like, and also on how those pairings are often portrayed in fandom. Behind the cut is a long meta post about how often the female character of the pairing is excessively hated on in fandom, even in pairings we like.

Meta on Dark Angel Max/Alec, Spuffy and Veronica/Logan )
I had the weirdest Buffy/Spike reunion dream last night. With like, touches of Dollhouse in it.

Three Buffy/Spike Reunion Scenes Here! )

All in all, it was a pretty good dream.
Title: Ashes
Fandom: BtVS
Rating: R
Pairing: Spike/Buffy
Timeline: Season 6

A/N: So, this drabble was just me writing with no idea what I wanted to write, or what was going to come out. Of course, it ends up being some weird season 6 angst thing. I'm not sure what to think about it. *shrugs*

Got this from [livejournal.com profile] mephistopholes.

When you see this, post a little weensy excerpt from as many random works-in-progress as you can find lying around. Who knows? Maybe inspiration will burst forth and do something, um, inspiration-y.

So, these aren't all the WIPs I have on my computer, and some of them might very well forever regulated to WIP status, but here we go.

For Empty Hands (Heroes, Matt/Mohinder )

Untitled (Star Trek 2009, Kirk/Spock) )

Untitled (BtVS, Spike/Buffy) )

Untitled (Doctor Who, Ten/Rose, Ten II/Rose) )

Replacements (Doctor Who, Torchwood, Doctor/Rose, Jake/Mickey and whole bunch of other people )

I wasn't completely sure what I was doing with this when I started it, but I think it's pretty. Lyrics, again, are from Regina Spektor.

I swear, this Star Trek fic is the slowest thing I've written. Well, not so much as the fic itself as the pace of my writing. That's probably because I keep going back and rewriting whole paragraphs, which I should probably do once I've got most of it written down, but I just can't seem to get this first part right. I'm seriously struggling with it. Which is sad, because I know exactly how I wan the second part to go, it's just getting there that is the problem. I should probably find someone to beta this when I'm through.

Anybody on my flist who likes Star Trek interested in beta'ing a Reboot Kirk/Spock pre-slash?

Ah well, at least I'm writing again. Turns out what I really needed was a break from the Buffy fandom. As much as I love it, after practically breathing it for a year I needed a break. Not to say that I am done with writing Buffy fics, because seriously, I do love it, and I've never enjoyed myself so much as I do in this fandom (All you fellow Buffy fans rock!) but I probably won't have another Buffy fic for a while. Which is a good thing, because every new story I've started for it has sucked so bad that I wouldn't even consider posting it on here. But the ideas are still there, lingering, and I'll get back to them :)

In other news, most of the flying ants disappeared since my dad went around sprayed some bug poison or whatever, so I no longer fear going to sleep and waking up covered in them. Yay!

I just got an e-mail that my fic "Pause" has been nominated at the Spuffy Awards for Best Short, Best Buffy Characterization and Best Spike Characterization. Wow! And that was just supposed to be some itty bitty drabble!

Thank you to whoever nominated me! *big hug*

Also, I entered two of my Spuffy videos at Sunnydale Stories. Ending won Best Tearjerker as well as Runner Up in Best Seasonal and Best Angst. If Tomorrow Never Comes was Runner Up in Best Couple.

The Pretties!!! )

So, my internet life is going happily, and I'm writing again, so that's good. Now if only real life could catch on...

So, this is a drabble. This is totally a drabble. It's a... 2553 word drabble. *headdesk* I fail. Written for [profile] xc_runner50. Prompt: "Buffy, why is there a Spikebot in the basement?"

Title: Pause
Fandom: BtVS
Rating: PG
Characters: Spike/Buffy
Timeline: Post series, ignores Season 8 comics, as I haven't read them.
Summary: Spike is reunited with Buffy, only to find that he has been replaced--by himself?

A/N: Okay, so this was totally supposed to be humorous, and then it ended up being very fluffy and somewhat dramatic. *sigh* I swear, I don't control my writing, it controls me.

Neither time nor demons stopped for Buffy Summers' love life. )

So, thanks to [personal profile] buffy_the_vamp6 I've been reading a lot of photoshop tutorials lately, and I have here two results of that. The first one is a blend I made using her tutorial. It's kind of grainy, since I just picked some caps I had on my computer and didn't bother looking for anything better, since I was only practicing. Still, I like it. The second graphic is my first ever manip. They looked like fun on the tutorials I read, so I thought I'd give it a try. Hope it's not too bad.

Title: What Richie Said
Characters, Pairings: Spike/Buffy, Richard
Rating: R, but just for some language and to be safe.
Timeline: Season six, post Older and Far Away.
Wordcount: 2571
Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters mentioned in the story below. I am not making money off of this, just having some fun.

Summary: Buffy reluctantly goes to visit Richard at the hospital after her disastrous birthday, and hears some astonishing information.

A/N: Just a bit fun that wouldn't go away after rewatching Older and Far Way a few weeks ago. Written for Seasonal_Spuffy.

‘Hi, I’m looking for Richard. No, I don’t know his last name. But he came in with a giant sword wound across his stomach and might have been raving about disappearing demons and a cursed house that wouldn’t let you leave. Do you have a room number?’ )

Title: If Tomorrow Never Comes
Edited by: Aisalynn
Characters, Pairing: Spike/Buffy
Song Used: "Last Night On Earth" by Delta Goodrem

A/N: Made for . Today is my posting day. I'll more things to post later.

Sorry about the poor quality in some places. The internet keeps cutting out here on campus and the higher quality file took too long to upload. I had to go with a smaller file. I'd recomend watching this in HQ.

I just finished the fanvideo for [livejournal.com profile] seasonal_spuffy . How have I managed to restrain myself from uploading it and posting it right away? By working on another video the second this one finished exporting out of Premiere.

It's two a.m. That means its the seventh right? That means I only have a week until my day. I can do that. I can wait a week. Sure. No problem. *glances around nervously*

So, I have finally caved and started to watch Angel. You people are right, Angel is a lot less annoying in his own show...if I can ignore the brooding and the pouting about Buffy and the fact that he can somehow walk around in sunlight and how he oh-so-nobly gives up anything that might make him the teeniest bit happier because he'd rather be Mr. Brooding Hero than actually fight to keep anything good in his life...

Well, I'm watching the show for the supporting characters anyway.

Like Doyle. I loved Doyle! Like, seriously adored him. He was cute and funny and he was the only characer who I didn't know the whole life story of and then I get to episode nine and--*sniffs* Damnit. I liked him.

I'm liking the style of the show though. It's a little slower paced than Buffy and the humor is darker and more adult. And though I do love my quips and puns from Buffy, I like this more cynical humor as well. The show really seems to like its flashy transitions too. Fades and flashes of white and scenes of L.A. at night with dramatic sound effects... It's different. I'm rather bored by the fight scenes though. I prefer the ones in Buffy. Maybe its because that show is much more about action than Angel is, but for some reason I like them better.

Alright, on to watch some more.
