These last couple of days I've been watching Avatar: the Last Airbender. (Which I absolutely adore and I could go on for ever about how great it is to see a kids show with actual character development and long story arcs and even hair growth but I'm not gonna. 'Cause I'm tired.) And I decided to draw Toph, the blind Earth Bender. Because she is awesome.

I definately think I am improving with painting on photoshop, but I still think my skin tones suck.

Today I've been thinking about turning my last Spuffy story, Make Me Immortal With a Kiss, into a three part story arc, all brought together by themes from Doctor Faustus. Simply because I love that play. The stories would compare Faustus' losing his soul to have a demon servant to Spike getting his soul for Buffy. Both bring the characters torment in the end. Kinda playing with the idea that what is supposed to save Spike actually, by vampire terms, condemns him. I think it'd be fun to write. I just have to get all my school work finished before I can start on it. *sigh*


I'm also considering putting up a link to a post with all my fiction on the side of my journal. The question is, should I have different links for different fandoms, or should I just do what I did in January, post an entire years worth of fiction in one post and have a link to that? What would be better?

Avatar is awesome. I held out on watching it for a long while, but my best friend is totally obsessed with it, and pretty much forced me into watching it with her. I fell completely in love about halfway through S1. Aang and Uncle Iroh are my favorites, but I pretty much love them all. :D

Wah! An Avatar Fan!

How did I miss this? I've just finished watching the whole series a couple weeks ago and I loved it!

I must admit I'm a Katara/Zuko fan. :-P

Yeah I just finished it here recently as well. It was so good! But now I'm sad that its over. :(

Haha. Katara/Zuko is actually my second favorite. My first, I'll confess, is Aang/Zuko. (I'm a big sucker for former enemy slash. The whole reason I got into fanfiction was a Draco/Harry story that I just happened to stumble upon.) Aang/Katara is, I admit, cute, but I thought Aang was far too young for how they ended the show--dramatic true love kiss an' all. *rolls eyes*

Well, I didn't mind that it ended with the two of them (as my ship obviously would not happen on a kid's show), but I think it would have been better with, like, holding hands or hugging, maybe a cute blush on both sides or something. I mean, Aang was what? Twelve? Far to young to be in love--a crush yes, but love? The way they portrayed it? Unrealistic, in my opinion.

I think he was like a hundred year old stuck in a 12 year old body..

When I watched the last episode online it was cut (the kiss) then Nick aired it like a week ago and it was intact.
