I just found out that I've been nominated at The Sunnydale Memorial Fanfiction Awards!

I was nominated for Best Author and my story, Just a Little More Real was nominated in the categories of Best Characterization (Buffy) and Best Gen Fic.

Wow! I've been writing fanfiction for nearly seven years now and I've never been nominated for anything before. It's rather exciting. *grins*

Congratulations! Your story is awesome. I'd just read it a few days before you were nominated and you couldn't deserve it more. Have you been writing in the Buffy fandom for very long? I noticed you've written many other fandom pieces and that you were just watching BtVS recently for the first time.

See! This fandom appreciates you oodles. You must write more Buffy fiction immediately. ;)

Thank you! And no, I only started writing a few months ago. I didn't even watch the show until last summer. In fact, I refused, being such a big fan of the movie. But, I love Anthony Stewert Head and I finally caved, just to watch him. And then I just...fell in love with the show. :)

This fandom is amazing. I didn't know how big and active it was when I was searching for fanfiction after finishing the show, and I'm really excited to be apart of it now, so yes! Definately more stories coming from me! :)

No I haven't. I'd borrowed the Buffy series from a friend who had them all on DVD, but she doesn't have Angel. To be honest, I don't have much interest in watching them. I really don't like Angel. But, I do sort of want to watch season five. For Spike, of course. :)

I love AtS Season 5. It's amazing - it's one of my fav seasons in the 'verse. And there are some really great moments during Angel - especially the Faith crossovers in Season 1 and Season 4.
