I just finished watching The Ring from season 1 of Angel.

Wesley: You should understand that the man I work for means a great deal to me. And I will not give you a single red cent. What I will do, sir, is beat it out of you if I have to.

Um, I'm pretty sure I just started shipping Angel/Wesley.

Like, seriously.

Whoah. O.o That was quite a comment.

Wesley inside of badass Wes, or even asshole Wes or weird 5th season Wes

Huh. The way you speak about him it sounds like he some kind of personality disorder. I guess he really does go through a lot, huh? Well thats okay. It makes for good interesting characters.

LOL, Not quite. At least I don't think so. But his character growth is so profound that if you stood season 1 Wesley next to season 4 Wes you'd be hard pressed to connect the two as the same person. Maybe twins separated at birth...

IDK. I have a very distinct way of thinking of Wes at each point in the show. When I'm reading stuff I don't ask "would Wes do that?" I ask "would season [blank] Wes do that?" because his behavior changes a great deal. A lot of that is probably me and the psychotic way I tend to create fully functioning characters within my head. >_> That's how I do most of my writing. I just end up with that character living in my brain and snarking at what I'm doing IRL. Yes. I know I'm crazy.

ROFL. I can be a bit of a "tl;dr" commentator on the subject of Wes. XD

I also apologize for taking over your journal with my babbling.

Haha. Its okay. I like your babbling. :)

Also, I totally get what you mean by having a character in your brain all the time. I do the same thing. It gets especially bad because I really like snarky characters, so my reactions to things and people tend to get meaner when I'm focusing on a character I'm writing.

(It gets really bad whenever I write some House especially.)

EXACTLY! I love me some snarky, angsty, wild characters [Griffin for example] but having them running around my head all the time can be... a trial. It's nice to have a few semi-normal ones in there sometimes. [Even tho I rarely do... I love damaged characters waaaaayyy more than is good for me.]

I'm like that with original characters too. There have been a few of those that really got to me. The ones that I really adore [original or not] tend to stick with me even when I'm not writing them. @_@ It gets crowded up there sometimes! Especially when I start keeping 2-3 versions of a character around. [Wes and a few originals most notably.]

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I feel like less of a lunatic now. ♥
