Music Request

So, I'm nearly finished with the Spuffy fanvid I've been making for seasonal_spuffy, I've only got two scenes I need to add, but I have to wait and get my friend's DVD's so I can rip them to my computer. I really thought it would take longer than this, but it seems things go a lot faster now that I know how to do a lot of the effects I want to. It's so much easier when you can do what was originally in your head rather than fighting with the program to figure out a reasonable alternative.

The bad thing about finishing it so soon (I still have like, a month until my day) is that I am a very impatient person. The temptation to just go ahead an post it somewhere is going to drive me mad. So I need to keep busy. And since I am still in a fanvidding mood, I really want to work on another.

I just don't have song in mind.

What I need is something intense but with a good beat and pace. Preferably rock, but not something that is so popular that people are sick of hearing it. I've made a lot slow vids and I'd like to work on something faster.

Anyone have any suggestions? Any song that you think fits the Spuffy relationshp?

I kinda suck at suggesting music, but I wanted to commiserate with you on finishing your Seasonal Spuffy piece so early. I've been working on the Buffy/Spike/Bot/Decoy fic you suggested as a lark and thought it'd be nice to have for Seasonal Spuffy so I could refocus on TYSK. But I'm getting close to done and I'm so impatient I know I'm going to want to post it.

As for music - I love anything by Shinedown or maybe if you wanted to make a really dark video about Buffy's death/resurrection you could use "Inside the Fire" by Disturbed. But that's a pretty intense and dark song.

I love Shinedown! Man, its been so long since I've listened to them, I'll have to listen again and see if I can find anything of theirs that would work. I don't know if I've heard "Inside the Fire" or not (I'm really terrible with remembering song names) but I'll give it a listen. You know how I love my dark Spuffy. :)


And just so you know, I am seriously looking forward to that fic. I'm sure its going to be hilarious. Buffy/Spike/Bot/Decoy--far too much awesome for one fic. *cracks up*

It just makes me think of Buffy, Spike, the Gift and her resurrection. Could work.

I should be finishing the Three Buffies/Spike fic this weekend. :)
