Got this from [livejournal.com profile] mephistopholes.

When you see this, post a little weensy excerpt from as many random works-in-progress as you can find lying around. Who knows? Maybe inspiration will burst forth and do something, um, inspiration-y.

So, these aren't all the WIPs I have on my computer, and some of them might very well forever regulated to WIP status, but here we go.

For Empty Hands (Heroes, Matt/Mohinder )

Untitled (Star Trek 2009, Kirk/Spock) )

Untitled (BtVS, Spike/Buffy) )

Untitled (Doctor Who, Ten/Rose, Ten II/Rose) )

Replacements (Doctor Who, Torchwood, Doctor/Rose, Jake/Mickey and whole bunch of other people )
Watched the first part of Children of Earth and oh my god! *flails from the awesomeness*

Here be spoilers and squees. )

I figured since I wrote more last year, than any other (and actually started to post them on livejournal), it would be a good idea to have a post with links to all of them. Organization is a good thing! (Hah. Like I ever follow that belief. In truth, I'm bored.)

Edited: This has been changed to a post that has links to all my fiction, instead of just what I wrote in 2008. Will be edited as more stories are written.

So, I'm in the middle of writing a--pretty long story--for Doctor Who when this Torchwood idea pops in my head. And it pretty much bit into my brain and wouldn't let go until I'd written it, so here it is.

By the way, I don't know why I was so reluctant to sleep earlier today, all that nonsense about Pod People. I took a little nap around noon and woke up feeling so fresh, so renewed, like I was a whole new person. Sleep is good... everyone should just go to sleep...

Whoo! This is what happens when I feel like writing and have no set idea in mind: my supposed to be 100 word drabble turns into a nearly 2000 word fic. Oi. This was so much more massive than I originally planned it.

So, I was bored a couple nights ago, went  looking through random fanfiction communities, saw a lot for Torchwood and thought, "What the hell? I've heard that show is supposed to be good, I guess I'll just watch it." So, I found the first season on line and spent the whole night watching the episodes.

ITS NOW EATING MY BRAIN.

SO amazing. But of course, Torchwood is a spin-off of Doctor Who, and I knew I wasn't going to get the full picture until I had watched some of that as well. So I did.

OH MY GOD, SO BRILLIANT.

I am seriously in love with these shows. Which means I now have YEARS AND YEARS worth of catching up to do. But that's okay. I LOVE IT.

I so should have started watching this years ago.

Anyway, wrote some fanfiction for Torchwood: small ficlet, and there will probably be more to come. My head is filled with it.

Title: Reminders
Author: Aisalynn
Characters/Pairing: Gwen/Jack
Rating: PG
Summary: Jack reminds himself.

On a side note, I've gone through and tagged all my journal entries, now that I've got a design that actually shows tags. Tagging them all was quite a job, and it was funny to see how many times I clicked the tag "rant" and how many times it went right along with "family."
