Haha! It really is a cultural thing. I just graduated from college, and over half of my friends of my age are either married or engaged (and more becoming so all the time). Marriage in our community is very much an early twenties sort of thing. My mama didn't get married till she was...27 or so? And people had sort of given up on her.
But yeah, I agree that it's hardly the end of the world. ;)
