Haha, I know. And you know what? Every other character wore that black undershirt thing beneath their uniform, but not Kirk. He just wore the flimsy, paper thin gold shirt. You know he got them ripped on purpose. :)
As for the green shirt, I always thought it was far too girly, what with the v-neck and all the embroidery. The other day my mom and I were watching TOS, and she asked me why he switched to wearing the green one all the time. That's wear I got this idea from--all the gold ones got ripped! It was the only explanation. ;)
