I enjoyed this vivid, action packed reunion. The whirlwind of Buffy's life wouldn't allow for much navel gazing, so, of course, there wouldn't be much time to bask in Spike's return. It was still emotional and in keeping with the characters.
I loved the Spikebot and Spike's startled, amused reaction to it. Buffy's mild disgust at the idea of being around it was also stellar. Their parallel reactions to the fakes said everything that needed to be said.
Here's hoping these two have time to bask once the demon hoard is slain!
