It seems like such a cliché, but I have seen CE blush and his ears do go pink at the edges. It's very cute! And it's fun to see him not squirming (right...). Nine is both very manly and weirdly innocent - it's so much fun to wind him up, and you paced it really well here, even if I had my suspicions what she was after.
