I really liked this! I was a little afraid in the beginning what with the kidnapping and blackmail, but the development of their relationship was well done and I found myself grinning uncontrollably quite a few times. I also enjoyed your characterizations of Jared's family & friends - adding too many OCs can sometimes over-complicate things, but I think you did a really good job of adding people without undermining the main story.
