So, the troll really grossed me out. I had to look away a few times when she was eating, but I laughed myself silly at Uther's reaction when he realized what it was exactly, that he did with the troll in his bedroom.

Also, I loved the actress who played Catrina, she cracked me up when she went from over the top Lady to hunched over displeased troll.

The moment between Gwen and Arthur didn't bug me too much, it wasn't as over the top as all her moments with Lancelot were.

And I might just be a little in love with Bradley James.

And the end where Arthur thanked Merlin and then Merlin went in for a hug? Adorable. Absolutely adorable and so slashy, what with the awkward pause before hand and then the way they slowly lowered their hands, still staring at each other.

"Whooa. What are you doing?"

"I thought you were going for a hug."

"Nooo."

"No?"

*awkward stare*

AHAHAHAHAHA. I love it! There needs to be more moments like that. For all that this show is supposed to be about Merlin completing his destiny to protect the prince, there doesn't seem to be enough interaction between them. And as one who slashes them, I seriously protest this.

Yeah- the troll episode got a bit much for me. I think it might have been better as a standalone rather than a two-parter.

The near hug scene was adorable. Though S2 is far more Arthur/Gwen, there are still some great Arthur/Merlin scenes (especially towards the end). But there should always be more.

The troll episodes didn't do much for me but I loved that bit at the end too with the not!hug. The next few episodes are some of my favorites, lots of Merlin/Arthur and Arthur/Gwen (which I like).
