That's beautiful. I love the outside-observer perspective, and I had to read it twice because the first time I forgot that it was a Reboot fic and was seeing Nimoy/Shat/DeForest. Then the second time through I read it and saw Quinto/Pine/Urban with equal clarity. You have a lovely gift for word-pictures, I'm gonna keep my eyes open for more :)
