You know, I don't know what it is about this show. I mean, I kinda took a break from the fandom for a bit, while I watched Buffy and got into it, but I could never write about it like I could Doctor Who. Sure, I had plenty of fanfiction ideas, load of them in fact, all planned out and pretty in my head, but when I actually sat down to write I was all like, "Where are the words?! I know they exist! Why are they so hard to find?" and it would take me forever to get just a few paragraphs of story out and then it be so much crap that I didn't even want to continue it.

And now, I go and read one little one-shot from the Who fandom that caught my interest and suddenly I am filled with the urge to write, and the words come as easily as breathing. Seriously, it's like I exhale and they're on the screen. Not the greatest of words, I'll give you that, but at least it wasn't so diffucult squeezing them out of this brain of mine.

And thats another thing about Doctor Who, never before have I gotten into a fandom and been more interested in writing fanfiction than reading it. Like seriously, I've barely read whats out there, and though I know just from what I've read that there are many many great writers, and so many stories I would just love, when I start to read something from this fandom, I get distracted with what writing fanfiction instead. It's never been that way before, I've always been more of a reader than a writer.

*shruggs* So, in short, I totally love this show. Not just because its brilliant and awesome and heartwrenching and wonderful, but because it keeps me inspired. And its just so much fun!

*goes back to writing*
