Oh god, the sheer variety of HP pairings would definitely make that exhausting. I was never properly involved in that fandom (I lurked in a few sorting communities and spent time surfing girls_today), but I remember the variety seeming infinite. I haven't been a monoshipper in a long time, but I feel like it's hard to get obsessive over my favourites when there's no basis for them in canon. (Bela/Jo is an instant click-through, but it's hard to justify a ship war over them!)
There's a reason I termed it "brave through" Route 666 :P I was surprised to see that someone has already claimed the episode for summer_sam_love!
