Question for my flist.

Is there a way to change the format of your journal for a single post? Like, when you see it on my journal it's in my normal layout, but when you click the cut, it's that plain white format? I'm just wondering because the SPN/J2 Big Bang deadline is coming (and though, thanks to my hypothyroidism and that damn Synthroid I'm behind and really cramming in the writing this last week, I'm determined to get it done.) and I'd like to just have the plain white background for the story when it comes time for me to post it.

I've seen it this way on other people's journals, but I have no idea how to do it. Can anyone help me?

when you go to customize your layout, there's an option to turn off custom comment pages. This will make anything behind a cut the black and white thing. Sadly it'll happen with every post, but there is a way to do it just by linking a certain way if you want to know.

Yeah, I'd love to know.

okay so one option you can do so you don't have to turn off the custom comments on all your entries, is ?format=light you just add it to the back of your html. So for instance, if you wanted to look at this page without the custom stuff, you'd go to

http://aisalynn.livejournal.com/101525.html?format=light

now with a big bang you could have all the links to the parts that way in the master post, and you could link them that way in the bottom. Does that help?

Oh, it's kinda like the ?style=mine tag! Thank you so much, that helps a great deal. And add another reason why master posts are so useful. You know I never saw those used until I got into the Supernatural fandom?
