So, thanks to the Supernatural friending meme, I've a got a lot of new friends. And I want to know about you. So come talk to me! Just comment on here with something about you, like, I don't know--how you got into the Supernatural fandom to begin with, or what you think would be the crackiest pairing or some opinions you have that you think are rather unpopular. Tell me what you usually post on your journal about or just babble at me about your family, your job, another fandom that you are currently in love with. Just anything.

(Maybe I should have found some kind of organized question meme or something.)

1. I just went and saved all the gifs you have on the sidebar cause I'm kind of addicted to gifs.
2. I got into fandom a fair bit ago all because my friend told me if I watched SPN I'd be a better person.

Oh, I am so addicted to gifs. Anytime I come across someone's journal and they have sidebar gifs I have to like, stare for forever before I can finally start reading whatever story led me there.

And of course it made you a better person. Supernatural is just awesome like that. :)

Ok, let me say something random to you, there's a little piece of chocolate on my keyboard right now and while I'm trying to take it, I'm making lots of weird things, cause I'm awesome like that. :P

For serious: I found out about Supernatural because of Jensen Ackles but Jared Padalecki and episode stills from "Everybody Loves A Clown" and "In My Time Of Dying" made me watch the show. I saw the pretty Jo then Jeffrey Dean Morgan. :)))

And I will reply with my own random thing: five minutes ago I was walking by my bed and I accidentally dropped my cream cheese covered bagel on my black comforter--cream cheese side down. *headdesk* That was quite a mess.

They are all so pretty... Heh. Funny thing, when Supernatural came out in 2005, my friend Kyndra was obsessed with it and I made fun of her for it (I was going through a phase where I didn't like supernatural or sci fi stuff, weird considering it's what I'd loved since I was kid. Maybe I was just tired of it. Anyway.) I told her the only reason she watched the show was because the boys were pretty.

Last summer, I finally got into Supernatural. Why? I kept seeing pictures and gifs of it on livejournal, I was bored, and the boys were pretty. Haha.

1-Uh, I got into fandom 'cuz I love Jensen and I was bored over the writers strike and decided to marathon it all in 2 days, thanks to some good friends nagging me to watch it. :P
2-John/Bobby is the pairing I cannot stand. I don't get it.
3-Right now my posts vary from emo silliness to Supernatural to Avatar-related to just randomness.
4-Right now my left leg is very warm and also possibly asleep thanks to my heavy puppy sleeping on it.

1. Heh. I didn't know who either actor was until I started watching the show. But, yeah, I pretty much got into it because I was bored as well. It wasn't until after that I realized I had seen Jensen in Devour. (Terrible movie.)

2. *snorts* I've never read it. Is that actually big around this fandom? Because I've pretty much ignored everything that isn't Sam/Dean, J2 or Gen.

3. I haven't seen Avatar yet. I really want to, but when it came out I was super broke, and now that I have money to go see it, every body around me already has and doesn't want to go again. *pouts*

1. Haha, you saw Devour and NOT for Jensen? I'm impressed, lol. (I actually kinda liked that movie. Or I would've, had it made a little more sense)
2. I've SEEN it around, but it's not big, thank god.

Hi there!

I first got into into this fandom because I read hollycomb's Dean/Castiel fics and absolutely fell in love with Castiel. So then I went and watched the show for more Castiel...and I ended up forgetting him in favor of Sam and Dean. I still think Castiel is pretty awesome but not in a life ruining kind of way, you know?

Anyway, I saw in the meme that you watch White Collar. I keep hearing about it, but I'm not sure if I'd like it. What can you tell me about it?

White Collar is awesome. If you've seen the movie Catch Me If You Can, it's a lot like that. It's a little more light hearted than most of the shows I watch, there's no apocalypses, or really really angsty character moments (though there is, of course, some angst. Can't have a show with a little, right?) but it's a great show for slashers. Especially slashers who don't like it when female characters are completely pushed to the side or bashed in favor of getting the guys together. Because one of main character's wife is completely awesome, and nearly the whole fandom recognizes this. Seriously, though. It's cute, and funny, the characters are great (the character Neal is so pretty) and I would definitely recommend it.

Umm, I started watching the show after a friend recommend I watch it, I fell in love and then not long after I discovered the wonderful world of fandom! :D (It was a complete accident how I found it, stumbled across as J2 fic and it just went from there lol)
..ummm, I think Sam/Castiel should be a more popular ship lol...and Sam/Gabriel actually...I just pair Sam with everyone LOL

Heh. The whole reason I'm watching Supernatural is because of fandom. I was bored, I kept seeing Supernatural stuff around on livejournal, one of my friends on my flist wrote fic for it, the boys are pretty...I just decided to check it out one day.

Sam/Castiel should definitely be a more popular ship! I mean, if there's so much Dean/Castiel (which I can't get into at all. Really. It squicks me and I don't even know why.) why isn't there a lot of Sam/Castiel? There's so much good tension there to play with.

Hey! Like I said in my post, I got into this fandom at a friend's urging, though he's really quite a moderate fan. I'm not entirely sure he knows what to do with what he's unleashed :P I'd actually already been exposed to Wincest by then, most memorably through "The Incestuous Courtship of the Antichrist's Bride" (which only got funnier as I caught up to the canon - fleshflutter is so good!) I've only been hanging around this fandom for about six months, but my fannish history is much longer. I got my start with Redwall, then Star Trek :P

I have two younger brothers and a big fluffy dog, though my family lives on the other side of the country. I miss them a lot, but love where I am too.

That's about the same amount of time I've been in this fandom. I've been in fandom in general since I read the fourth Harry Potter book--I stumbled across some fanfiction for it one day, and fandom has pretty much taken over my life since.

I've got an older sister (by ten years) and younger brother and a younger sister, three dogs, two cats and two hermit crabs. But they all live an hour away, so here at my apartment it's just my two roommates and the piranha, Petey. But what I really want, pet wise, is a snake. :)

Yes, Supernatural definitely isn't my first fandom either. Those honours go to the Redwall books :P I spent many an hour gaily pretending to be various forest animals! Fic actually came later for me; roleplaying and fan sites is where I got my start.

Petey strikes me as a good name for a piranha, somehow. Also, a snake would be interesting! How do your roommates feel about the prospect?
