WHAT THE HELL DEAN, DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE!!
Alright, now that that is out of the way.
I really enjoyed this episode. The way the little town worked was more of how I always imagined the Apocalypse--people hunkering down somewhere to prepare weapons and coming up with creative ways to fight. That being said, I was definitely with Sam the whole time on this one--didn't trust the town at all, and the girl prophet seemed creepy to me, so I wasn't surprised she turned out to the whore of Babylon.
Loved Cas in this one. "I found a liquor store. I drank it." *giggle* Of course it would take an entire liquor store to get him drunk, and I loved the little moment between Dean and Cas by the car. Though, I would like to see Sam and Cas bond over Daddy issues. I mean sure, Dean is pretty fucked up when it comes to that, but Sam dealt with having a disappointing father all his life, he might have better ways of coping than Dean, who obviously isn't coping with anything at all.
Then again, Sam went off the deep and started the Apocalypse. Maybe neither of them should give him advice.
He should go see Bobby.
Dean has been really worrying me in the past few episodes, and when he was fighting with the false prophet and he looked at the stake that worry really turned into fear. And horror. Then Dean takes the car, leaves Sam and goes to say his goodbyes and well, shit.
Stupid, stupid Dean.
Okay, I liked Lisa and Ben very much (I was disappointed that we didn't get to see Ben), but when Dean tries to bargain with the angels before he turns himself into a Michael Puppet, he better include Sam in that. Not that I think it'll do much good, but if the ones he loves enough to bargain for include a woman he had one weekend with and not the brother he's been closest to his whole life and who happens to be his soul mate (I'm totally taking that as canon now, and no one can change my mind.) than I am going to be pissed.
I live in fear and anticipation for the next episode.
On a plus side, since Dean went AWOL, does this mean we're going to get a lot of Sam and Cas interaction next episode? (Yay!)

I was like "o.0" at the end of the episode because REALLY? Really, Dean? You walk out on your brother TWICE after he spills his guts to you and go see a woman you shagged 10 years prior whose kid may or may not be (IS NOT) your son and that's your ideal life?
LAKFDJGLAKFJDGALKGJ..
I hate how much I love this show.
<333 If we DO see dean "bargaining" with the angels -- there better be some epic sam-requests in there, because I can't believe that he'd abandon his FREAKING SOULMATE (canon, baby!) for a random chick (As much as i love lisa)

Ah well. I liked Lisa better anyway. I was just disappointed there was no Ben. I loved Mini-Dean. :D
Aw, and when Sam was all "You can't do that to me." I was all D: and then Dean just taking the Impala and abandoning him... Grr... There definitely needs to be some "epic sam-requests" to make up for that.

Right. I get that he's still pissed at Sam for hurting his feelings, but this is what I call going overboard. How is Lisa (who we saw in 1.5 episodes) suddenly more important to him than Sam? That's not what we were supposed to get out of that scene, is it? I almost feel like it was, but obviously I'm not buying it.
