Title: Five by Five
Fandom: BtVS
Characters: Buffy, Faith
Rating: PG
Notes: Written for the Sunnydale High School 10th Anniversary Comment!Ficathon.

Summary: Another apocalypse down, Buffy and Faith decide to duck out of the clean up and share a well earned bottle of tequila.

( Beside her Faith was also pulling herself up, brushing off the dust and debris of what used to be the town square fountain. )

comments

Fic: Interlude I : Cocoa

So, it's been years since I've written any Buffy fic, but this story has actually been sitting on my hard drive unfinished for a long time now, and since I've been rewatching Buffy again I finally got off my butt and finished it.

It's the third story from my Hot Chocolate series, and I have two more planned before the whole series is finished.

Title: Interlude I : Cocoa
Fandom: BtVS
Characters/Pairings: Willow, Buffy, mentions of Buffy/Pike and Buffy/Spike
Rating: PG
Wordcount: 2000+
Warnings: Post-Series, mentions of character death
Notes: This story mentions parts of the movie as well, but ignores season 8 comics and any other Buffy books. This is the third part of my Hot Chocolate series. Previous stories are Hot Chocolate and Bittersweet.

( Buffy shook her head. “I’ve decided to break the pattern of dating guys with leather jackets. No good ever came of that.”

Willow thought for a moment. “I don’t think two makes a pattern.”

Buffy looked down at the mug in her hands, tapping her fingers lightly against the side. “Three,” she said quietly. )

comments

Title: This Lane Closed (Or Why Sometimes You Really Should Listen To Your Horoscope)
Fandom: RPS, J2 AU
Pairing: Jared/Jensen, mentions of Tom/Mike
Rating: PG13
Word Count: 10,488
Summary: Jensen hates his job at the LoBill's grocery store. The only highlight is that every Wednesday the same guy comes in to buy candy and laugh with Jensen at the tabloids. Now if only Jensen could get up the courage to ask the guy his name...and possibly his number.
Warnings: Schmoop, bad tabloid articles, LOTS of candy.

A/N: Part 2 posted here, because of LJ's stupid word limit. *grumbles*

( Part 2 )

comments

Title: This Lane Closed (Or Why Sometimes You Really Should Listen To Your Horoscope)
Fandom: RPS, J2 AU
Pairing: Jared/Jensen, mentions of Tom/Mike
Rating: PG13
Word Count: 10,488
Disclaimer: Obviously, the people own themselves. And I am in no way making money off of this.

A/N: So, over ten thousand words and there is very little angst. Seriously. Barely any at all. I can hardly believe I even wrote this.
Nine/Rose Banner

So, I went ahead and rewatched the rest of season 1 of Doctor Who--plus the Christmas Special. And you know, every time I get to the end of Parting of the Ways I'm always just as sad as the first time I watched it. I loved Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor. But then, it only takes the first few moments of David Tennant talking in front of the Sycorax to make me fall in love with Ten again. :) This upcoming regeneration is going to be rough--the first time I ever watch when it actually happens on the show, rather than years afterwards when I've already seen episodes with the next Doctor.

Anyway, I made another banner. This one for Parting of the Ways. I should probably be writing--I still have several drabbles (ficlets) that I owe to people and I need to get started on my chapter story I have planned, but I can't seem to get the motivation. I feel very lazy, and making graphics is relaxing for me. I stress out over my writing. But don't worry, I won't be able to ignore my word processing program for long.

Oh! and look! Rounded corners! It took me ages to learn how to do this, and when I finally did I couldn't figure out how to make the corners transparent. Finally, I just zoomed in and erased the corners pixel by pixel. If someone knows of an easier way, please let me know. :)

Enough rambling. On to the banner.

( I create myself. )

comments

2 Doctor Who Banners

Rewatched The Empty Child and The Doctor Dances today. Made a few banners to afterwards. I like the Jack/Rose one the best, though, by trying to keep the sort of dark, brown tinged style that the episodes had, I think I made them sort of look like they're floating in smog. How lovely. Ah well, at least I'm getting better at blending without a mouse or a tablet. Now if I could only learn to draw with the itty bitty touch pad I'll be all set.

( Finally, a professional. )

comments

More Tin Man

This one was fun. Azkadeillia really had the prettiest scenes.

comments

Tin Man Wallpapers

Rewatched Tin Man this week. I'd forgotten how much I loved it. Maybe I'll actually finish that long Tin Man story I started over a year ago.

Or maybe I'll just make some wallpapers instead.

Side Note: Yay for Dollhouse being renewed! Now if only Terminator would be too...

Also, why is it that I sit down to watch a movie, totally wanting to just kick back and be drawn into a frilly romantic comedy with Kate Beckinsale and John Cusack, and end up slashing the male lead with his best friend instead? Maybe it has something to do with my love for long time friendships evolving into something more. I definitely like it better than soul mates and love at first sight crap. Changing your whole life because of one night with someone? Bah. This is why I absolutely hated Sleepless in Seattle, 'cause it was even worse, what with them not even meeting till the end.

Okay, random movie comments done. Enjoy graphics!

comments

Fic: Pause

So, this is a drabble. This is totally a drabble. It's a... 2553 word drabble. *headdesk* I fail. Written for xc_runner50. Prompt: "Buffy, why is there a Spikebot in the basement?"

Title: Pause
Fandom: BtVS
Rating: PG
Characters: Spike/Buffy
Timeline: Post series, ignores Season 8 comics, as I haven't read them.
Summary: Spike is reunited with Buffy, only to find that he has been replaced--by himself?

A/N: Okay, so this was totally supposed to be humorous, and then it ended up being very fluffy and somewhat dramatic. *sigh* I swear, I don't control my writing, it controls me.

( Neither time nor demons stopped for Buffy Summers' love life. )

comments

Addicted! Addicted I tell you!

And this movie doesn't help.
The Fountain Wallpaper

I just saw The Fountain for the first time yesterday and I fell in love with it. Absolutely adore it. So, I made a wallpaper for it.

Did I mention that I've been rather addicted to Photoshop lately?

And one without text here.

comments

Underworld Wallpaper

I caught the last half of Underworld on TNT tonight. It'd been so long since I watched it, that I'd forgotten how much I liked it. Well, since I'm still in such a graphic making mood, I made a Wallpaper for it, based on the scene at the end.

*yawns* It's past five in the morning now.
