Re: your worries. I used to read some SPN fic (I don't anymore, even though I'm still watching it, but that's a different story), and I wrote a few pieces of fic, as well. And even though the reviews I did get were very positive, I didn't get many at all. Less than in any other fandom I've written in, really. I think it might just be the nature of the fandom? Because it's so big and overwhelming? And I wrote very, very gen or het stuff, which isn't the most popular in the fandom to begin with. ;)

All that to say, it's such a big fandom that you might not get feedback the way you do in a close-knit sort of fandom like BtVS. So you don't have to assume that it's your writing; it might have nothing to do with it at all.

Was that a really bad attempt at encouragement? I so get the worry about new fandoms. It happens.
