Thinking turned out to be Buffy Summer’s thing.

This is very beautiful. I really love thinky Buffy. I was so excited (much like Willow), when she started to discuss the content of her college courses. Her lightweight persona worked beautifully in getting adversaries to underestimate her, but sometimes people who shouldn't have, fell for the act, too.

It makes perfect sense that this philosophical idea would resonate with her. With the stuff thrown her way, it would be so tempting to wish it was just a mirage. It's a sort of theoretical version of the Normal Again episode. However, it also makes sense that she would reject it in the face of glorious life bursting forth. How can you not?

Very well done.

One tiny glitch: far too often than she’d like, should be, far more often than she’d like
