Do you know what I hate? I hate stupid fake virus scanning advertisements, that just take over your web browser and pretend to run a virus scan on my computer to prove that I need it, even though the fake "My Computer" folder that pops up is set to "Classic" while mine is the way Vista has it set up and I have more than one drive and really DO YOU THINK I AM THAT DUMB? Ten Trojan Viruses and eight Spyware Alerts? Please. Like a virus scan supposedly that thurough really takes ten seconds to run. And then of course, I can't go back, can't exit out of the tab, because another box pops up and my only choices are "okay" and "cancel" one of which loads that stupid program they are trying to get on my computer and the other which just takes me back to the page again. So finally, I have to go through task manager and exit out of ALL my tabs just to get rid of this damn thing. I HATE IT.

*takes deep breaths*

Okay, rant over now.

In other news, I finished the first season of Angel Friday morning. I was going to write and post this whole Post-Season thing, with all my ideas and opinions, was even going to include screencaps, but I ended up going to my friend's home in Terre Haute and was without internet for most of the weekend.

Now I'm lazy and don't feel like doing it.

But I will say, (and I can't believe I am saying this) thanks to the show I now actually like Angel (talking about the character here). I want to bash my head against this cement wall I'm leaning against, because I really didn't want to like him, but I do. I can't help it.

BUT! *raises finger dramatically* I still detest him and Buffy together. Whenever they are in a scene together, no matter how innocent, I always end up hating them both. So really, it just doesn't work out for me.

In other random news: House tonight! Yay! I am so looking forward to this episode, though I'm afriad something will happen to Kutner. I don't remember seeing him in the promo for it and Taub looked upset when I saw him. I like Kutner! I don't want anything bad to happen to him. Kill off Thirteen!! Then we can get rid of her and Foreman's schmoopiness and he'll just angst. Stoically. He will stoically angst.

Before exploding.

I just finished Eternity and you know what, I'm not buying it.

If the drug didn't give him "true" happiness (whatever thats supposed to mean) and it was actually "fake" happiness, why would he react that way? He didn't lose his soul then, (because of this whole "true" thing) so shouldn't he just be Smiley Happy Angel rather than Giddy Psychotic Angelus?

And if thats how he acts when he's happy, does that mean the only things that can really make him happy are destruction/death/hurting others? If thats true, then he wants those things all the time, not just when he is happy, and this is whole distinction between Angelus and Angel is utter bullshit.

I just finished watching The Ring from season 1 of Angel.

Wesley: You should understand that the man I work for means a great deal to me. And I will not give you a single red cent. What I will do, sir, is beat it out of you if I have to.

Um, I'm pretty sure I just started shipping Angel/Wesley.

Like, seriously.

So, I have finally caved and started to watch Angel. You people are right, Angel is a lot less annoying in his own show...if I can ignore the brooding and the pouting about Buffy and the fact that he can somehow walk around in sunlight and how he oh-so-nobly gives up anything that might make him the teeniest bit happier because he'd rather be Mr. Brooding Hero than actually fight to keep anything good in his life...

Well, I'm watching the show for the supporting characters anyway.

Like Doyle. I loved Doyle! Like, seriously adored him. He was cute and funny and he was the only characer who I didn't know the whole life story of and then I get to episode nine and--*sniffs* Damnit. I liked him.

I'm liking the style of the show though. It's a little slower paced than Buffy and the humor is darker and more adult. And though I do love my quips and puns from Buffy, I like this more cynical humor as well. The show really seems to like its flashy transitions too. Fades and flashes of white and scenes of L.A. at night with dramatic sound effects... It's different. I'm rather bored by the fight scenes though. I prefer the ones in Buffy. Maybe its because that show is much more about action than Angel is, but for some reason I like them better.

Alright, on to watch some more.
